Singapore (SGT) is 7 hours ahead of Paris (CET) and 8 hours ahead of London (GMT).

You can expect very warm and humid weather due Singapore’s tropical climate all year round (25-33°C). 

SG Arrival Card (SGAC)

All travellers are required to submit the SG Arrival Card within three (3) days (including the day of arrival) before arriving in Singapore. Submission of SGAC is Free and can be done via the SGAC e-Service or MyICA Mobile app.

Some tips to keep in mind: 

• Safe drinking water: You can drink tap water straight from the source or easily purchase them from stores.
• Power plug: The standard electrical current used in Singapore is 220-240 volts AC (50 cycles) and you can use Type G power plugs with three square prongs here.
• Language: You can communicate in English with Singaporeans, who are mostly fluent in it. Many also speak Mandarin Chinese, Malay or Tamil.
• Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in buildings, retail food establishments, transport nodes, public service vehicles and sports facilities. It is an offence to smoke in any area within five metres of the entrances and exits to buildings. Designated smoking areas are marked with notices or signs.
• Vaping: Vaping is illegal in Singapore. Owning, using or purchasing an electronic vapouriser or vape results in fines of up to $2,000 per offence. Singapore airport authorities regularly conduct operations to confiscate vapes and fine passengers.
